Chairlift rides will be available on the following dates from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM:



September 26th, 27th
October 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 12th

Everyone ages 3 and up can get a lift ticket for $18. The lift ticket allows for multiple rides on the same day if you would like.

The Hornet Double fits two people per chair. Please keep in mind that all children ages 3-12 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. 

Both – you can get your ticket online for quick admittance onto the lift, or purchase your ticket in person by the Hornet Double. All lift tickets are date-specific and cannot be transferred to a different date. Please choose your date carefully when purchasing your tickets online.

  • All participants must be able to properly load onto the chairlift without assistance.
  • Children must be seated on the chairlift. Parents are not allowed to carry a child/toddler on the chairlift.
  • Any children aged 3 to 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
  • All participants must be at least 36 inches tall.
  • All riders must unload at the top, then load again to come back down.
  • Alcohol consumption and smoking are strictly prohibited on the chairlift.

    Tenney Mountain reserves the right to deny chairlift access to any guest who cannot meet the required safety guidelines. Lift operations are weather-dependent and may be delayed or suspended during inclement conditions. For the safety of our guests, the chairlift will close immediately in the event of thunder or lightning. Plan ahead and check weather updates before purchasing your tickets. Make sure to bring an outer-layer, Fall in New Hampshire can get chilly and you will be heading to the summit of our mountain.

The chairlift ride is about a 30-minute ride each way. Additionally, it takes around 30 minutes to complete the summit trail hike. We would recommend you reserve at least 2 hours for the full fall foliage experience at Tenney.

Enjoy the vibrant colors of Fall at Tenney Mountain with a Fall Foliage Chairlift Ride. Hop off at the top for panoramic vistas and unwind with colorful Lakes Region Mountain views on the way down. It’s a relaxing way to enjoy peak leaf season and capture the beauty of autumn from an entirely new perspective.

The Fall Foliage Scenic Lift Experience will run on weekends and holidays:
September 27th & 28th
October 4th & 5th
October 11th, 12th & 13th

Hours: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm 

Fall Foliage Lift Ticket Prices:

  • All ages (6 & above): $16
  • Children ages 3 to 5: Free, Must be accompanied with an Adult

Scenic Chairlift Rides will be on the Hornet Double Chairlift. This lift seats 2 passengers per chair. The chairlift ride is a one-hour round trip. All tickets can be picked up or purchased at Tenney’s iconic Witch’s Hat, where guests can purchase food and drinks before or after your scenic chairlift ride! Review below for more information on scenic chairlift rides.
