DISC GOLF

Two 9-Hole Disc Golf Courses

disc golf in the mountains of NH

Tenney Mountain has a long history of disc golf, going back to 1977 when one the first courses in America was built right along the lower trails of the mountain. Ed Headrick, widely considered the founder of disc golf, lists Tenney Mountain as one of the original courses in the country, and an “official frisbee sanctuary”. The course was recently revitalized in the fall of 2023.

The 2026 disc golf course at Tenney Mountain has been completely redesigned, with a brand new 9-hole layout located near the entrance area of the mountain, creating a smoother and more user-friendly layout for players of all skill levels. The updated design allows for easier navigation between holes, improved course upkeep, and a more welcoming overall experience for both new and returning players.

Please note the Backcountry Bar & Grill and base lodge are closed to the public. Anyone playing disc golf on Tenney Mountain are doing so at their own risk. In the event of an emergency while on the mountain, it is your responsibility to dial 911 for assistance.
