Tenney Mountain is a rejuvenated, family-owned ski area offering authentic all-mountain skiing and riding, snow tubing, lessons, ski and snowboard rentals, special events, and live music in the lodge.

Founded in 1960 and known as “The Gateway to the White Mountains,” Tenney stands as a living testament to New England’s rugged skiing heritage. Its revival was made possible by a passionate community of skiers and riders who never gave up on the mountain.

Tenney is served by four lifts: a Platter Pull accessing the tubing and beginner hill, a TowPro rope tow serving the new PLN Terrain Park, and two primary chairlifts—the Eclipse Triple and the historic Hornet Double, New Hampshire’s oldest operating chairlift. Across the mountain, guests will find narrow, winding trails, natural glades, classic New England terrain, and an experience that feels refreshingly different from larger resorts.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I only started skiing at Tenney because it’s on the Indy Pass, and wow, I’m so glad I did. It’s such a classic New England ski day in the best way. The trails and terrain are great, the lodge is phenomenal, and the whole place just has a really special, old-school charm.

Everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming, too. It’s the kind of independent mountain that just makes skiing feel fun and genuine again. I will go back for the chicken bowl, yum!

I am a retired ski and snowboard instructor who had a great musical experience with Dobb's Dead, courtesy of the US World Ski Tour. The crowd was tentative, at Tenney, at first, but the quality undertow eventually sucked most onto the dance floor by the Music Never Stopped encore. Then the music, ironically, stopped. Next time (there will be a next time), folks will get their boogie shoes on more quickly, willingly, and excitedly. Thanks for taking the chance and sponsoring the dance!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was great fun.  Lots of trails for intermediate to advanced skiers to have fun on. Little jumps and drops all over for the adventurous.  Nice little terrain pro tht is open late with a super fast rope tow.
